Terms of use

The essential contractual rules for using Sinco, publishing content and accessing paid digital services.

Last updated: August 16, 2026

These terms govern use of the Sinco website, mobile app and services. They complement the Community Guidelines, the Privacy Policy and information shown at the time of purchase.

1. Publisher and contact

Sinco is published and operated by Houlmann Yohann — sole trader (Entrepreneur individuel, EI), trading as CBY, SIREN 924 394 190, 20 rue des Tanneurs, 68800 Thann, France.

Contact: contact@sinco.fr — +33 7 67 28 94 03.

2. Access and minimum age

Sinco is reserved for people aged 18 or older. You must provide accurate information where it is needed to create, secure or verify your account. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for actions carried out from your account, except for fraudulent use that is not attributable to you.

3. Community Guidelines

Before social features can be used or content published, Sinco may require versioned acceptance of the Community Guidelines. They form part of the service rules and cover prohibited content, human creation, child safety, reporting, blocking and moderation measures.

4. Published content and intellectual property

You retain the rights you hold in content you publish. To operate Sinco, you grant the publisher, for as long as needed to provide the service and only to the extent necessary, a non-exclusive permission to host, store, technically reproduce, transcode, display and distribute that content in the app, on public pages or sharing links you enable, and in technical backups or processing needed for the service.

You must hold the rights and permissions needed for content you publish, including where identifiable people, third-party works, trademarks or other protected elements appear.

5. Moderation, restrictions and review

Sinco may remove, hide or disable access to content, restrict features, suspend an account or start account deletion where this is justified by a rule violation, safety risk, fraud or legal obligation. Automated checks may assist detection but do not systematically replace human review.

Where a moderation decision affects you and review is possible, you may email moderation@sinco.fr, identifying the content or account concerned and explaining why you contest the decision.

6. Reporting illegal content

Anyone may report content they believe to be illegal to moderation@sinco.fr, including without a Sinco account. A notice should identify the content or its precise location and explain the reasons for the report. Practical information is available on the Support and contact page.

7. Premium and Google Play subscriptions

Sinco may offer a Premium subscription providing the benefits described in the app. The price, billing period, currency and renewal terms shown by Google Play at the time of ordering govern the relevant transaction.

Subscriptions are managed through Google Play. Cancellation is performed through Google Play subscription-management tools. Uninstalling the app does not by itself cancel a subscription. Premium entitlements are activated, restored, expired or revoked according to the server-verified status.

8. One-time digital purchases

Sinco may offer cosmetics, frames, tickets or other digital items as one-time purchases. Their description, price and consumable or permanent nature are shown before purchase. Delivery depends on Google Play transaction validation and verification by Sinco services.

9. Voluntary contributions through Stripe

Stripe contributions are voluntary support for Sinco. They are separate from Premium subscriptions and digital purchases and provide no content, feature, cosmetic, point, badge, frame, Premium entitlement or other digital benefit in return. The selected amount is displayed before payment is confirmed.

10. Prices, payment, refunds and mandatory rights

For Google Play purchases, the price and payment information displayed in the Google Play interface at the time of the transaction govern the purchase. Refund requests and applicable rights are handled in accordance with mandatory law and, where the transaction is made through Google Play, the mechanisms provided by the platform.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

11. Availability and service changes

Sinco may evolve and add, modify or remove features for technical, safety, compliance or product-development reasons. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, incidents or updates. The publisher uses reasonable measures to maintain the service and protect data but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

12. Account deletion

You can request account deletion in the app or using the methods described on the Account deletion page. Confirmed self-service deletion disables access to the account and starts the automated purge of associated data without delay, subject to legal or safety obligations that require limited retention of certain information.

13. Personal data

Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law applicable to them.

15. Contact

General support and contractual questions: contact@sinco.fr. Safety and moderation: moderation@sinco.fr.
