Safety and moderation
This page presents the reporting, blocking and moderation mechanisms used on Sinco.
Sinco uses safety and moderation mechanisms to protect the community and preserve an honest space for human creation.
The service is reserved for people aged 18 or older. This access restriction complements, and does not replace, the child-safety and CSAE/CSAM handling mechanisms described below.
1. Available tools
- reporting a user and supported types of content or interaction;
- blocking another user;
- moderation processing and human review;
- removing, hiding or disabling access to content;
- restricting, suspending or deleting accounts when rules are violated.
2. Child safety
Sinco explicitly prohibits all child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) and all child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This prohibition also covers sexual solicitation of minors, grooming, sextortion and sexualisation of minors.
Members can use the app’s reporting mechanisms to bring concerning content or behaviour to Sinco’s attention. Safety reports can also be sent to moderation@sinco.fr, Sinco’s designated child-safety contact.
When content is confirmed as CSAM, Sinco handles it in accordance with applicable law and makes required reports to NCMEC or the relevant regional authority where applicable.
3. Automated moderation
Sinco uses automated checks on certain published content, including media and text, to help identify content that violates the Community Guidelines or is dangerous, abusive, fake or misleading.
Automated checks do not replace human review. They help limit abuse, prioritise reports and protect the community, but they are not guaranteed to detect every violation.
4. Human creation
AI-generated or AI-altered content is prohibited, especially AI-generated images and videos. Any exception must be explicitly announced by Sinco. Fake or misleading content may be removed immediately.
5. Emergency and contact
If there is an immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or competent authorities first. For safety, child-safety, moderation or problematic-content matters: moderation@sinco.fr.
